Tourist visas for Croatian nationals

Visitor/Tourist visas - options for Croatian citizens

There are two ways you can apply for a Visitor/Tourist visa, as set out below. Please note that if you obtain an online (electronic) visa from the internet or an authorised travel agent you will not receive a visa label. The visa is stored electronically.

(If you are intending to travel to Australia for business purposes, please see: Business Short Stay visas.)

i) Option 1: apply for an electronic Tourist visa (e676) via the internet - for stays of up to 12 months
To make an internet application for an e676 Tourist visa for a stay in Australia of up to 12 months, see: Online applications -e676 Tourist visa

Fee
A fee applies for online applications.

Processing times
For information about processing times for e676 Tourist visa applications, see: http://www.immi.gov.au/visitors/tourist/676/after-you-lodge.htm We recommend that you apply at least two weeks before you intend to travel to Australia.

Checking the progress of an online application:
e676 visa applications are processed in Australia, not at the Australian Embassy Vienna. After you have made an application, you can check its status or download the approval letter using the Transaction Reference Number (TRN) given to you during the application process.
See: E-Business Systems - Query Application Status

Technical help:
If you have a technical problem with your online application, please contact the eVisa Helpdesk:
See: http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/forms/email/eform-visa-enquiries.htm?37

Applicants 75 years or older:
If you are 75 years of age or older, the office processing your online application may request you to undertake an Aged Visitor Health Check with one of our panel doctors.
You can download the required form at: Aged visitor health check
For a list of panel doctors, please see: http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/doctors/index.htm

ii) Option 2: make a paper application at the Australian Embassy
If you are unable to complete an online Tourist visa application, please follow the instructions for lodging a Tourist visa application at Tourist visas - other nationalities.

An application fee is applicable for all paper Tourist visa applications, regardless of the length of stay in Australia.
